Often a shorthand for sophistication, mystery or evil, or even just used as a familiar marketing touchstone, classical music has been an endless source of inspiration for film composers across generations. Even trailer music has found its way back to the source lately, expounding on well-known themes with a modern mix of bombast and epic sweep that even the masters could never achieve in their time. Reimagined is Audiomachine?s first official foray into modern interpretations of several beloved classics, including darkly powerful takes on Beethoven, Mozart and Rachmaninoff, mesmerizingly stripped-back and slow-burning approaches to Chopin, Liszt and Satie, and gorgeous, sweeping arrangements of Saint-Saens, Borodin and Debussy. Written with respect to these ageless compositions, but creatively reworked to honor the needs of modern genre-bending marketing campaigns, Reimagined harnesses the dynamic power of a live orchestra and choir to give these classics an entirely new sound.
